Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, UMass Lowell

I am a professor in the department of Electrical & Computer Engineering at the Francis College of Engineering at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. I have more than 30 years of industrial and academic experience in wireless networks, radio propagation, wireless network design. I hold two U.S. patents, and my research has appeared in 100 publications in the open literature in areas of modern wireless systems. I am interested in the performance of large wireless networks, high speed wireless data, femtocells, network planning, wireless position location and applications, radio navigation systems and radio propagation. I work with major wireless operators such as Verizon, Sprint, etc., and with equipment vendors such as Ericsson, CommScope, etc.
