Jeanne Snelling

Jeanne joined the Faculty of Law at the University of Otago as a Lecturer in 2018 and holds a joint position with the Bioethics Centre. Jeanne teaches Medical Law and a first year paper, Introduction to Law and New Technology in the Faculty of Law. She also teaches into a Bioethics paper (Bioethics and the Life Sciences) and lectures on medical law to undergraduate medical students at the Otago School of Medicine. Jeanne’s research interests include medical law in general, but particularly the ethical and legal implications of genetic advances and emerging biotechnology.
