Jelena Zikic, PhD (University of Toronto, Rotman School of Management) is an Associate Professor and a Graduate Program Director at York University, School of Human Resource Management. Dr. Zikic has significant international background and experience that she brings to her teaching and research. Previous to York University she was teaching and living in Italy, Spain, the UK and in Eastern Europe. Her expertise centers on career transitions of diverse populations (e.g., unemployed, entrepreneurs, baby boomers, migrants) stress and coping. Her work appeared in leading journals in the filed as well public media outlets such as the Globe and Mail newspaper and Harvard Business Review. Finally, she has extensive experience and closely collaborates with various community organizations assisting migrant professions in our labour market.
