Assistant Professor of Community Health & Preventive Medicine, Morehouse School of Medicine

Dr. Jennifer Rooke, MD MPH FACOEM FACPM earned her medical degree at St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada and completed an MPH at Emory University. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Health and Preventive Medicine at Morehouse School of Medicine, an institution she has served in varied capacities over the years. Here she recently founded the Optimal Health and Wellness Clinic through Morehouse Healthcare with a research interest in plant-based nutrition, lifestyle, and occupational medicine.

She also established the first Lifestyle Medicine clinic in Atlanta, GA, originally under the name Atlanta Lifestyle Medical Center and later as Advanced Lifestyle Medicine. She serves as Chairperson of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine’s Guidelines and Policies/Standards Committee, which is developing Lifestyle Medicine practice standards and guidelines for physicians.
