Research Scientist, Energy Economist, CSIRO

Jenny is a computational chemist who has expertise in chemical, biological and economic modelling. She has worked in interdisciplinary environments to provide analysis on issues of future strategic significance.

Jenny is a research scientist in the Energy Transformed Flagship of Australia’s of CSIRO. She leads research projects on technology cost projections and has made economic modelling contributions to renewable energy projects, including studies undertaken by CSIRO on the potential of wave energy and concentrating solar thermal energy in Australia.

Dr Hayward’s focus is on developing new methods and modelling approaches to provide robust projections of the capital costs of existing and emerging electricity generation technologies.
