Jessica Kirkness

Jessica is a non-fiction writer and researcher in the fields of Life Writing and Deaf and Disability Studies. Earning her PhD in 2019, her research investigates the value of life writing and creative nonfiction in animating the 'hearing line': the invisible boundary between Deaf and hearing cultures.

Her current research examines the dimensions of lived experience in hearing loss and interventions using online forums.
