Jill P Brown

Dr Jill Brown is a mathematics education senior lecturer at Deakin University and leads the Graduate Certificate in Secondary Mathematics. After teaching secondary mathematics for over two decades, she has worked in initial and graduate mathematics teacher education since 2004 work with Secondary and Primary teachers of mathematics as well as early childhood mathematics educators. Her research focus covers primary and secondary mathematics education. Her research interests include mathematical modelling, mathematical thinking and reasoning, functions, multiple representations, the use of digital technologies, affordances and zone theory.
