Lecturer in New Media and Broadcast Journalism, European Humanities University

I am currently a sessional lecturer in both New Media and Broadcast Journalism at the European Humanities University, a Belarusian University in exile in Vilnius, Lithuania. I have worked in radio journalism and broadcasting for Australia's community broadcasting network and ABC Radio National, and as Training Manager for SBS Radio/TV in Melbourne. For seven years I delivered bespoke journalism training to local journalists in the Arab world and former Soviet states for BBC Media Action. I also worked for 12 months, returning in March, 2012, as Head of Radio Broadcasting for the United Nations in Afghanistan. I have won several national and international awards for radio documentary programs.
