She has won numerous awards including: Gallaudet Honorary Librarian, Who's Who in the Book of American Women, Who's Who in American Education, Who's Who in Information Technology, National Advisory Group Outstanding Service Award (NTID), Issac L. Jordan Pluralism Nominee Award.
