Joanna Jaaniste

My undergraduate degree was with Sydney University where I majored in English Literature at Honours level. Since then, I have worked as a teacher (Post-graduate Diploma in Education; Armidale CAE); trained to be a Dramatherapist (Post-graduate Diploma in Dramatherapy; (University of Hertfordshire, UK) and PhD in Dramatherapy (WSU). I have worked as a dramatherapist for 19 years in South West Sydney Mental Health and have co-written a curriculuma and taught it in the Dramatherapy Grad Dip for IKON Institute of Australia. I now work in the School of Social Sciences, Psychology and Therapy Studies at Western Sydney University as a Lecturer Grade B and a researcher.
