Joel Wing-Lun

Joel Wing-Lun is Lecturer in History and Asian Studies at the University of New South Wales. His research focuses on the social, economic and environmental impact of imperial expansion on communities in Southwest China. He holds a PhD in History and East Asian Languages from Harvard University and has been a visiting research student at Peking University, Sun Yet-sen University, and the Australian National University. He is also an affiliated researcher at the Laureate Center for History and Population at UNSW.
