Using the incredible biology in and around us, Dr Johanna Simkin loves creating content that is an awe-driven exploration of the natural world. Her projects as curator strive to show the dynamic, colourful biological origins of discoveries to inspire the viewers curiosity and amazement.

With a PhD majoring in Neuroscience & Cell Biology, her favourite exhibitions have captured the multifaceted and often elegant processes that allow life to thrive - with themes such as microbiology and immunology.

Her favourite topics include the co-evolution and development of the gut and nervous system, with a special interest in neural crest cells.
