John M Norman

John Norman is emeritus professor of Management Studies at the University of Sheffield. After an early career in industrial operational research, he taught in the Universities of Lancaster and Sheffield. He held visiting professorships in India, the USA and Japan. His main research interest is in the application of dynamic programming and he has a particular interest in its application to sports.
