Professor of Atmospheric Science, University of Leeds

Dr John Marsham is a Water@Leeds research fellow working on atmospheric convection and precipitation.He was previously the NCAS (Weather) researcher on atmospheric convection. He moved to Leeds in 2003, after completing his PhD at Edinburgh.

In 2010 he was awarded the Royal Meteorological Society's L F Richardson prize and the European Meteorological Society's Young Scientist Award for his "outstanding publications".

He is involved in many ongoing projects including:
