John R. Seita is an associate professor of social work at Michigan State University. He does teaching, research, student advising, and community involvement. His research interests include trauma informed research, aging out of foster care, transitioning to college, long -term residential care, and participation levels of foster care alumni in the child welfare system as leaders.
