Director, Calvary Centre for Palliative Care Research & Senior Research Fellow, Australian Catholic University

Dr John Rosenberg is a Registered Nurse with a clinical background in community based palliative care. In 2007, he was conferred a PhD by Queensland University of Technology for his thesis titled 'An examination of the application of health promotion principles and practice in palliative care organisations.' His ongoing scholarly interests include social models of palliative and end of life care, skill advancement in end-of-life care for all nurses, and men’s health and wellbeing relating to issues of death and dying. John is the inaugural Director of the new Calvary Centre for Palliative Care Research. Based at Clare Holland House, the Centre has been developed as a collaboration between Little Company of Mary Health Care (with Calvary Health Care ACT) and the Australian Catholic University School of Nursing, Midwifery and Paramedicine in Canberra.
