Emeritus Professor, Australian Research Centre for Population Oral Health, University of Adelaide

Professor John Spencer is the Professor of Social and Preventive Dentistry and Founding Director of the Australian Research Centre for Population Oral Health at The University of Adelaide. He is a leading contributor to oral health, dental practice and dental services information and policy in Australia through his involvement in population oral epidemiology and dental health services research.
He is Editor of Community Dentistry and Oral Epidemiology, International Advisor to Community Dental Health and a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of the Australian Dental Journal. Professor Spencer has received a number of international and national awards recognising his contribution to dental research.
He has published over 215 scientific papers and co-authored several book chapters and numerous research monographs.
