Professor of Health Economics, Newcastle University

I am a health economist based in Economics and the Institute of Health and Society at Newcastle. My research has mainly focused on health inequalities in the UK. I am also interested in QALY weights, blood donation, health and lifestyles and, more generally, empirical applications in health.

I currently hold an ESRC (Secondary Data Initiative) grant investigating inequalities in oral health in the UK. This is a multidisciplinary project with researchers from Newcastle, UCL and NatCen.
