Jon Emery

Professor of Primary Care Cancer Research, The University of Melbourne

I am an academic GP with a focus on the role of primary care in cancer prevention, screening and diagnosis. I studied medicine at Cambridge and Oxford and was previously Professor of General Practice at UWA before taking up a Chair at Melbourne University in 2013 as part of the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre. I am an NHMRC Practitioner Fellow and Visiting Research Fellow at Cambridge University.
