Jon Fairburn

Jon Fairburn's research covers a wide area, but includes air quality, environmental justice, energy, inclusive growth, sustainable tourism and geographic information systems.

Fairburn has carried out research for a wide range of organisations including the EU, the World Health Organisation, Environment Agency, Scottish Government, Medical Research Council and the M6 Toll Road.

His recent work includes:

WHO (2019) Environmental health Inequalities: Second Assessment Report - as well as writing some of the chapters, he was also asked to chair the meetings of experts.
