Jonathan M. Wooding is an Honorary Professor at the University of Sydney, where he held the Sir Warwick Fairfax Chair of Celtic Studies from 2013 to 2021. Previous to that he was Reader in Religious History at the University of Wales, Trinity Saint David. His specialist interest is the early religious history of the Celtic nations, especially monasticism and the cult of saints.
