Jordan Peter Anthony Pitt

I graduated with a PhD from the Australian National University in 2019. The focus of my thesis was developing numerical methods to model tsunamis and storm surge. I am now an applied mathematician at the University of Adelaide modelling the interaction between ocean waves and sea ice, critical for understanding the evolution of the oceans in the polar regions and thus predicting the climate.
