I am currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Alberta. Previously I was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Extending New Narratives in the History of Philosophy project, based at Simon Fraser University. My research focuses on Social Epistemology, Legal and Political Philosophy, Indigenous Philosophy, and Latin American Philosophy. In addition, I am a trained lawyer and have worked in the field of Human Rights and research and policy development in Peru. I am focused on the conditions to develop a global theory of justice compatible with Indigenous views from across the globe. I have a graduate diploma in social conflict analysis and resolution and one in international public policy development, with a special focus on water policies. The United Nations University granted the latter. In addition, I have served as a field trip coordinator for the Water Without Borders program of the United Nations University.
