José Luis Reséndiz

Doctoral Researcher, University of Oxford

As a Doctoral Researcher at the Oxford Sustainable Finance Group within the University of Oxford, I am also engaged with The World Bank, specialising in transition finance and business model transformations aligned with a net-zero economy. My research focuses on developing climate transition plans for the real estate, power, and aviation sectors, with a particular emphasis on the use of sustainability-linked finance.

In addition to these responsibilities, I hold the position of Research Fellow at Boston University's Global Development Policy Center, where I concentrate on development finance and energy transitions. Furthermore, I provide research support to the UK Transition Plan Taskforce, the standard-setter launched by HM Treasury that provides recommendations on corporate climate transition plans in the UK.

Over nearly a decade, I have maintained a solid track record of delivering consultation and policy advice on sustainable finance and energy policy to various governments and financial institutions.
