PhD Candidate in Corporate Governance, Heriot-Watt University

Josh McLeod is currently on a PhD scholarship at Heriot-Watt University. His research examines the corporate governance practices of professional football clubs in Scotland, with a particular focus on board effectiveness. More widely, his research interests include organisational change in the football industry, the feasibility of the supporter ownership model and football finance in a broader context.
