I completed a Bachelor of Mathematics majoring in both pure and applied mathematics at the University of Newcastle in 2016. Following this, I completed my honours year at the University of Newcastle with a research project assessing how convective thunderstorms interact with the sea-breeze air mass in idealised numerical simulations. From 2018, I have been at the University of Technology Sydney as a PhD candidate applying both numerical and statistical modelling techniques (including machine learning approaches) to understand Australian severe weather, with a focus on drought and severe convective thunderstorms.
