Joshua P. Nudell

I am an ancient historian whose work focuses on politics, society and memory in ancient Greece, as well as food consumption and production. I am currently working on my first monograph, based on my dissertation, "Accustomed to Obedience?: Ionia and Ionians 480–294 BCE," which is under contract with the University of Michigan Press. To date, I have published three articles on aspects of Ionian history and historiography.
