Associate Professor, The University of Queensland

Dr Judith Mair is an Associate Professor in the Tourism Discipline Group of the UQ Business School, University of Queensland, Australia. Her research interests include the impacts of tourism and events on community and society; consumer behaviour in tourism and events; the relationship between events and climate change; and post-disaster recovery for tourist destinations.

She is Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Event and Festival Management, has written and/or co-written five books, and has authored over 55 journal articles and book chapters on various aspects of tourism and events.
