Julia Chen

Dr. Chen’s clinical and research interests include managing obesity, improving women’s health screening, and leveraging the electronic health record to enhance care. She is co-leading a program to optimize the referral experience at Michigan Medicine in partnership with the AAMC, by developing eConsults to facilitate timely access to specialist input for focused questions and streamlining the in-office referral process. She has also participated in multi-disciplinary committees to increase the rates of HPV vaccination and chlamydia screening.
