Associate professor, Queen's University, Ontario

I am a social and cultural geographer with a research and teaching focus on housing, homelessness, urbanization and the social determinants of health in the Arctic, particularly the Canadian North. I engage in collaborative, community-based and -led research on culturally- and contextually-relevant strategies to address housing and home in northern communities. My research approach involves storytelling and creative, arts-based methods.
