Julia Kreienkamp

Julia Kreienkamp is a researcher at the Global Governance Institute at University College London (UCL), where she also works on the Horizon 2020 project "Global Governance and the European Union: Future Trends and Scenarios" (GLOBE). Her work seeks to advance understanding of the actors and institutional mechanisms involved in global governance, with a particular focus on global environmental governance and the changing landscape for state and non-state climate action under the 2015 Paris Agreement. Most recently, she has explored (together with Tom Pegram) the implications of complexity thinking for governing existential global risks.

Julia holds a master’s degree in International Relations from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a bachelor’s degree in Politics and Economics from the University of Münster.
