Associate Professor Julian Elliott is Executive Director of the National COVID-19 Clinical Evidence Taskforce and Chair of the Australian Living Evidence Consortium, based at Cochrane Australia, School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Monash University; CEO of Covidence.org, a non-profit online platform for efficient systematic review production; and an Infectious Diseases Physician at The Alfred Hospital. His research is focussed on the development of new technologies and systems to improve the production and use of trustworthy evidence, including the ‘living evidence’ model, software systems, artificial intelligence and citizen science. Associate Professor Elliott was the 2017 recipient of the Commonwealth Health Minister’s Award for Excellence in Health and Medical Research.
