Dr. Jimmy Feng is passionate about understanding and helping people improve their lives in retirement.

Jimmy's primary area of expertise is superannuation and retirement income policy. Through his research, he has extensive understanding in household savings and investment decisions, consumption patterns in retirement, and behavioural responses to retirement income policy changes. His work was cited in the Productivity Commission's report on "Superannuation Policy for Post-retirement", and mentioned in the Age.

Jimmy also researches on healthy ageing. Contributing to the Health Economics space, he adds knowledge on disability patterns amongst the Chinese population. He has interests in care provision for seniors, health literacy and cognitive skills amongst the seniors and the associated financial needs and outcomes.

Having comprehensive background, Jimmy has training in information system, actuarial science, and economics and finance. He has strong skills in data analytics, modelling, and programming. He also has rich experience is teaching and training, and consultancy.
