Justine Ferrer

Dr Justine Ferrer is a Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management (HRM) in the Department of Management in Deakin Business School and currently holds the role of Associate Head of School in Teaching and Learning for the Department. Justine is a Board member for the Australia and New Zealand Academy of Management (ANZAM) and Chair of the Education and Outreach Committee. In addition, Justine serves on the National Accreditation Committee for Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI). Justine's research interests are focussed on HRM, particularly the darkside and the ethics of HRM, the experience of the HR practitioner, and the career development of minority groups. Justine teaches across the spectrum of HRM units. She has developed specific strategies to engage students, and this drive for greater engagement is influenced by her research on student engagement and employee engagement in the workplace.
