Senior Research Fellow in Geomorphology, Griffith University

Dr Kemp is a geomorphologist specialising in river sediments and flood hydrology. She also works on archaeological and geomorphological applications of optically stimulated luminescence dating. Her work focuses on river responses to climate and environmental change, and on human-landscape interactions in Australia over the last 60,000 years. She has worked in the Murray-Darling Basin and eastern coastal regions of Australia, the U.K. and Finland.
