I am a physician and clinical researcher. I have completed my MBBS degree from Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College, Bangladesh and Post Graduate Diploma in Paediatrics and Child Health from Imperial College London, UK. Before joining to UQ, I worked for about nine years at an international research organization (www.icddrb.org) in Dhaka, Bangladesh. My main interest in research includes child respiratory and alimentary diseases and malnutrition.
With a PhD scholarship at the University of Queensland, I am currently doing research to see the effects of family, neighbourhood and psychosocial environmental changes on asthma among children in children.
