Digital Health Program Manager at the Centre for Digital Transformation of Health, The University of Melbourne

Kara is the Program Manager in the Centre for Digital Transformation of Health at The University of Melbourne generating innovation opportunities with doctors, nurses and allied health workers. She has 15 years’ experience of health services management and an ability to shape value propositions that translate to key health priorities. She is regularly published in the JMIR the highest ranked journal in health services and technology globally.
Kara collaborates with researchers globally investigating the impact of health technology on the lives of patients, providers, and the community. Importantly she advocates for increased ways we can empower people in our health system. In addition to her academic pursuits Kara volunteers as the Researcher in Residence for Transformative Technology Australasia and works diligently to support the health tech start-up community across Australia.
