Kassi Welch

Kassi Welch is a PhD student in Kinesiology at the University of British Columbia (UBC). She has a Masters in Arts in Kinesiology and a Bachelors of Kinesiology also from UBC. Her MA thesis research was a narrative inquiry focused on retired athletes living with long-term pain and their experiences of identity. For her PhD research she is interested in continuing her work in narrative methodology and investigating areas of identity construction, physical activity, and assistive technologies.
