Kate D'Cruz is a Senior Research Fellow at the Summer Foundation and holds an Adjunct position at La Trobe University. In her role at the Summer Foundation, Kate leads research projects to evaluate the experiences and outcomes of young people with disability. Kate is a qualified occupational therapist with extensive research and clinical experience in the rehabilitation of adults with acquired brain injury (ABI). As a qualitative researcher, Kate enjoys partnering in co-design research that is meaningful and relevant to the lives of people with disability. Kate's PhD research explored the relational experience of narrative storytelling, from the perspective of adults with ABI and facilitators.
