Dr Huggins is a senior researcher at Deakin’s Institute for Health Transformation and previously held a NHMRC TRIP (Translating Research into Practice) fellowship in the department of Nutrition Dietetics and Food at Monash University. Dr Huggins trained in basic science, obtaining her PhD in nutritional physiology, and has built upon these skills to develop expertise in pre-clinical and clinical research to address complex problems in healthcare.
