Katharina Massing

Senior Lecturer in Museum and Heritage Development, Nottingham Trent University

Dr Katharina Massing holds a PhD in Museum, Gallery and Heritage Studies from Newcastle University. She is course leader of the MA Museum and Heritage Development Programme at NTU. Her research and teaching focuses on ways to democratise heritage discourse and management, intangible cultural heritage and sustainable tourism development internationally and in the UK. She is passionate about working with local communities on interpreting and representing their heritage.
