Dr. Du is a consumer psychologist researching consumer self-expression, identity-signaling consumption, branding, and authenticity in the marketplace, with a substantive interest in findings that benefit consumers and/or society. She leverages her expertise in experimental methods to investigate the causal relationships underlying these topics. Dr. Du teaches Consumer Behavior to undergraduate students and has won multiple awards and high evaluation marks for her approach and performance.
