Kathryn Graddy specializes in the economics of art and culture. Her recent work has been in the areas of creativity of artists, auction guarantees, the behavioral economics of art auction prices, and investment returns to violins. Professor Graddy co-teaches an Economics of the Arts course with a Brandeis Art Historian, Industrial Organization, Game Theory, and Microeconomics at the PhD level. She holds the Fred and Rita Richman Chair in Economics.
