Kathryn Teare Ada Lambert

Adjunct Lecturer/ Ecologist, University of New England

I am interested in all things ecology, particularly behavioural ecology where animals can be observed in their natural environment. I work on a variety of projects including Bell Miner Associated Dieback, urban ecology and trying to find a balance between biodiversity and human needs.

My citizen science project, Bell-Miner-Colony Project enlists the general public to report the location of bell miner colonies so that it can be determined whether bell miners cause dieback by influencing the insect canopy assemblage or whether they are a secondary cause.
