Professor of Marketing, European University Viadrina

Following many years as a marketing practitioner and consultant in London and Brussels, Katja left the corporate sector to join academia and fully pursue her passion for research. She currently holds the Chair of Marketing (II) at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder), Germany.

Katja's work investigates consumption-related phenomena such as nostalgic consumption, ethical branding, marketplace exclusion, consumer perceptions of CSR and corporate ethics as well as aspects of academic isolation. Her research has been published in leading journals such as the Journal of Consumer Research, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Business Ethics and Psychology & Marketing.
