Visiting Fellow at the Institute of Intellectual History, University of St Andrews

Katrin is currently Visiting Fellow at the Institute of Intellectual History at the University of St Andrews. She holds a BA from the Institute for Social Ecology, an MA from the University of Sussex, and an MSc from the London School of Economics. She is an MFA candidate and 2019 Felipe P. De Alba Fellow at Columbia University. Currently she is enjoying work as a researcher at the American Museum of Natural History.

Katrin has written for the BBC, The Daily Beast, and The Indypendent among others, and is an award-winning playwright. The daughter of two world travelers and adventurers, she bridges multiple nationalities and loves exploring—she has learned wilderness skills with some of the best survivalists on the planet, hunted with hunter-gatherers in Tanzania, run with the bulls in San Miguel, hiked the red heart of Australia, uncovered illegal detention centers in Cambodia, and organized internationally for migrant and worker rights.
