Keith Jeffery

Keith Jeffery is Professor of British History at Queen’s University Belfast and a Member of the Royal Irish Academy. Among his books are Ireland and the Great War, The GPO and the Easter Rising, and the prize-winning Field Marshal Sir Henry Wilson: A Political Soldier. His ground-breaking history, MI6: The History of the Secret Intelligence Service 1909–1949 was published in 2010. He is currently working on a global history of 1916.
