Teaching Faculty, Geography and Environmental Studies, Wilfrid Laurier University

I am currently a Lecturer/Contract Faculty in the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies at Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, Ontario. As a geographer, my interests lie within the crossroads of space, place and mobility processes. I focus my work within the realms of diversity and multiculturalism, immigration experiences, travel and tourism, heritage conservation, place-making, and sustainability. The roots of my research are firmly planted within the philosophies of place, socio-cultural and critical geographies, and specifically focus on multi-ethnic festivals, diaspora tourism, literary narratives and local stories of place.
