Teaching Fellow in Sport and Exercise Science, Newcastle University

I am a Teaching Fellow of Sport and Exercise Science in the school of Biomedical, Nutritional and Sport Sciences at Newcastle University.

I received my Sport and Exercise Science BSc and MSc graduate from Liverpool John Moores University.

I conducted my PhD at the University of Liverpool on a Diabetes UK funded project. The primary focus of my research to date has been to examine the effects of physical (in)activity and sedentary behaviour on integrative physiology and metabolism, and studying cross-talk between adipose tissue, skeletal muscle and the liver.
