I direct a laboratory at the University of Virginia that is funded by the NIH (NHLBI and NIA), NASA and an upcoming grant from the Department of Defense.

Our work is focused on genome instability (somatic mosaicism) and how this contributes to aging and age-associated diseases.

We have published over 400 articles (h index: 131 Google scholar; 111 Scopus).
